The BMW-X5 SUV


The BMW X5 is a mid-size crossover SUV sold by BMW since 1999. It features all-wheel drive and is available with a range of gasoline inline-6s and V8 engines. Diesels are an option for models sold outside of North America. All X5s worldwide are manufactured in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Like the Lexus RX 300 and Mercedes M-Class, the X5 heralded the shift from truck-based body-on-frame SUVs to sedan-based crossovers that would come to fruition in the late 2000s.
4 years later, the BMW X3 was released, which used the "X" prefix applied to the BMW SUVs which were derivatives of the BMW number-series models.

THE CHEVROLET TAHOE


The Chevrolet Tahoe is a full-size SUV from General Motors. Chevrolet waited until 1994's introduction of a four-door version to rebadge their former full-size Blazer as the Tahoe.
The Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon currently serve as General Motors' full-size SUVs. Lengthened wheelbase models are available for both as the Suburban for the Tahoe .
In North America, the Tahoe is a popular alternative to the Ford Crown Victoria for police car use, especially in rural areas
The Tahoe was Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year for 1996.

THE LEXUS RX


The Lexus RX is a mid-size SUV produced by Toyota Motors. In North America, Europe, Oceania, and parts of Asia,it is sold by Lexus, Toyota's luxury division, as the Lexus RX series (such as the RX 300, RX 330 and RX 350).The RX first premiered in 1997 as a Lexus concept, followed several months later by debut of the production RX 300/Harrier models. In 2003, the second generation RX debuted in the U.S., and the redesigned RX 330/Harrier went on sale shortly after. In 2004, the RX line added the world's first luxury-type hybrid, the RX 400h, and the RX 330 was upgraded to the RX 350 for model year 2007.
The RX series is designed to combine the functional characteristics of an SUV with the ride and features of a luxury-type sedan.

THE CADILLAC ESCALADE


The Cadillac Escalade is a full-size luxury sport utility vehicle sold by the General Motors brand, Cadillac. The Escalade was introduced for the 1999 model year in response to German and Japanese competitors and to Ford's 1998 release of the Lincoln Navigator. The standard Escalade is built in Arlington, Texas.
As of today, the Escalade and Escalade EXT pickup are, together with the Cadillac BLS, the only Cadillac vehicles made outside of the United States.
